Position Overview: As an Creative Design & Marketing Intern (Co-op Placement) at VintageBASH, you’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in the world of event design and marketing. This role offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to collaborate with our creative team on a range of projects. While this position is unpaid, it provides invaluable learning opportunities and the chance to contribute to real-world projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the creative and marketing team to produce visually stunning content for various digital and print platforms, including social media, website, email campaigns, and promotional materials. Work closely with clients, partners, and affiliate partners to ensure designs align with brand identity guidelines.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies aimed at enhancing brand awareness and engagement. This includes contributing creative ideas and concepts to brainstorming sessions and design meetings, as well as staying updated on industry trends to ensure marketing efforts remain innovative and impactful.
  • Assist in web design development by assisting in creating and updating website content, layout design, and user experience enhancements.
  • Participate in social media marketing efforts by helping develop and implement social media strategies, creating engaging content, posting content, and monitoring performance metrics. Foster positive interactions with followers and contribute to community growth across various social media platforms.
  • Assist in content creation across different platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging and alignment with brand guidelines. Develop engaging blog posts, articles, video content, graphics and newsletters.
  • Contribute to SEO copywriting initiatives by writing SEO-driven copy for website content and other digital assets. Integrate relevant keywords to improve search engine visibility and enhance overall digital presence.
  • Support marketing outreach efforts by assisting in identifying potential leads, conducting outreach campaigns, and following up with prospects through email, phone calls, and other communication channels.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide marketing support, including creating sales collateral, assisting in lead generation activities, and tracking sales performance metrics.
  • Assist in event planning, design, and production for our clients and sister companies.
  • All other marketing related tasks for clients, partners and sister companies.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a graphic design, marketing, communications, or related program.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong creative skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiasm for event design and marketing.
  • Previous experience or coursework in graphic design and/or marketing is a plus.
