Position Overview: As a Business Administrator & Sales Assistant Intern, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our administrative operations while gaining invaluable hands-on experience. Working closely with our passionate team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of various projects and initiatives, all while developing essential skills for your future career. This internship position is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of business administration.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities may vary depending on the number of hours you commit to working with us. Below is an outline of the anticipated tasks:

  • Business Management: Aid in team oversight, team building, problem-solving, and plan implementation along with sister companies.
  • Sales Assistance: Drive sales efforts by generating leads, closing deals, conducting research, and implementing strategies to support business growth.
  • Marketing Assistance: Content creation, website management, product photos, social media, manage sub-brands and other promotional campaigns.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Data entry, file management, scheduling, customer service, order processing & website maintenance.
  • General Office Support: Provide assistance to customers & partners, including walk-ins, appointments and upkeep and maintenance.
  • Email & Calls Management: Handle emails and calls efficiently, ensuring timely responses and organizing messages effectively.
  • Client Order Processing: Handle client orders from paperwork processing, vendor coordination to preparation and packing of items.
  • Staging: Assist in staging for presentations such as showroom staging, shoot and events staging, ensuring it’s alignment with brand’s aesthetic.
  • Inventory Management: Inventory tracking, monitoring, reports & replenishment. Organizing inventory, and packing items for storage or display as needed.
  • Budget Management: Support in budget tracking and management, including monitoring expenses and reconciling invoices.
  • Event Coordination Support: Assist in coordinating client meetings, vendor appointments and event logistics, ensuring seamless execution.
  • On-Site Support: Assist with on-site visits, on-site event management, including setup, cleanup and teardown, and coordination.
  • Post-Event Evaluation: Assist in conducting post-event evaluations, gathering feedback from clients and attendees, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Process Development: Contribute to developing and implementing business processes and systems to streamline workflows.
  • Project Management: Collaborate on projects, allocate resources, and ensure milestones are met.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct data entry, data collection, research and analysis to support decision-making and company growth.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive efforts and successful project execution.
  • Proposal and Presentation Preparation: Assist in preparing proposals, contracts, and presentations for clients, partners and stakeholders.
  • Undertake duties to support overall company growth and smooth workflow, including those involving sister companies and partners.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a college under Business Administrator, Marketing, Sales or related program.
  • Highly reliable and commitment to on-time performance, with no last-minute cancellations.
  • Able to work well independently, taking the initiative to solve problems and self-motivated to achieve goals.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and environments.
  • Genuine passion for events and growth strategies, eagerness to learn and grow in the industry.
  • Strong computer skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google Drive applications.
  • Familiarity with design softwares such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is a plus.
  • Ability to lift and move items as needed for inventory management and event support tasks.
  • Access to a laptop, smartphone and high speed internet for work-related tasks.
  • Safety shoes required for on-site support tasks.

Details

  • Internships span a minimum of 3-4 months.
  • Availability of a minimum of 16 hours per week, including event weeks and weekends.
  • Interns may undertake tasks for sub-brands under VINTAGEBASH as needed.
  • College credit is available; applicants are encouraged to consult with academic advisors for credit requirements.
