We are currently hiring event management & production interns to assist with daily company operations and event productions, this position is ideal for a college students requiring internship or co-op placements. Events may include corporate events, weddings and social events.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may vary depending on the hours you commit to working with us and other various factors. Below, you’ll find an overview of what you can expect. These duties may involve our brands, sister companies, or client projects.
- Assist in event planning, coordination, design, and production for our clients and sister companies.
- Perform event-related tasks including site visits, coordination, being an attendant, serving, prep, set-up, cleanup, and tear-down.
- Handle appointments, emails and calls efficiently, ensuring timely responses.
- Handle orders and bookings from paperwork processing to preparation and packaging.
- Provide assistance to customers, including walk-ins, appointments and maintenance.
- Preparing and packing client orders, and unpacking & cleaning rental, decor and floral items.
- Aid in general office maintenance, cleaning and website management to uphold professionalism.
- Confirm that all decor items, tools and equipment are returned clean, and properly stored.
- Inventory maintenance, organization, tracking, monitoring & reporting.
- Properly pack, clean and handle inventory to protect against damage and deterioration.
- Assist the marketing and sales team to execute growth strategies, materials, and engaging content across various platforms.
- Contribute to improving business processes and systems to elevate client experience.
- Data entry such as research, book keeping & cash flow management
- Crafting, floral design, balloons, decorating, painting – lots of craft!
- Undertaking all other event-related assignments for the company, clients and its sub-brands.
Qualifications
- Must be enthusiastic and outgoing.
- Highly reliable with a commitment to on-time performance, avoiding last-minute cancellations.
- Able to work well independently, taking the initiative to solve problems, and self-motivated to achieve goals.
- Possesses strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
- Capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and environments.
- Ability to lift and move items as needed for inventory management and event support assignments.
- Access to a laptop, smartphone, and high-speed internet for work-related tasks.
- Safety shoes required for on-site support tasks.
Details
- Internships are at least 90-120 days in length
- Interns must be available a minimum of 16 hours a week onsite, and during event weeks & weekends (and also past midnight during events)
- We also run sub-brands under VINTAGEBASH (relevant to events industry). You will be assign relevant tasks for our sub-brands when needed.
- College credit is available. We recommend you talk with your academic advisor to see what steps are necessary to get credit with your particular institution.
