We are an events and marketing company operating in North York, Toronto, specializing in event planning and production for various occasions including corporate events, weddings, and social gatherings. Responsibilities

  • Assist in event planning, design and production for our clients and sister companies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies, materials, and engaging content across various platforms.
  • Perform event-related tasks including site visits, coordination, being an attendant, serving, set-up, cleanup, and tear-down.
  • Provide exceptional assistance to customers, including walk-ins, appointments, and showroom maintenance.
  • Prepare and pack client orders, and unpack & clean rental items to ensure seamless operations.
  • Engage in creative activities such as crafting, floral design, balloons, decorating and painting to enhance event aesthetics.
  • Assist in responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries and handling administrative tasks as assigned, including data entry and emailing tasks.
  • Aid in general office maintenance, cleaning, and website management.
  • Ensure proper inventory management by maintaining accurate records, tracking stock levels, and organizing inventory spaces.
  • Contribute to operational enhancements through innovative solutions such as streamlining processes, implementing new tools, or optimizing workflows.
  • Conduct research, data collection and contribute insights to the development of growth plans.
  • Manage social media accounts, create content calendars, other marketing channels and engage with our audience to boost brand visibility.
  • All other event and marketing related tasks to support the company and its sub-brands growth.

Requirements

  • Ability to follow instructions and multitask effectively.
  • Organized and efficient with strong time management skills.
  • Must have access to a laptop and safety shoes.
  • Own laptop and smartphone

Details

  • Internships are a minimum of 3-4 months in length.
  • Interns must be available a minimum of 16 hours per week, including event weeks and weekends (and potentially past midnight during events).
  • Interns may be assigned tasks for our sub-brands under VINTAGEBASH as needed.
  • College credit is available. Applicants are encouraged to consult with their academic advisors for credit requirements.
