Research Internship
VintageBASH is a Toronto-based event design and décor company that transforms spaces with floral design, event styling, and curated rentals. We support a range of events — from weddings and brand activations to corporate functions. As we continue to grow, we’re constantly researching trends, improving systems, and identifying opportunities to expand.

The Role
We’re looking for a Research Intern to support our creative, content, and business development teams. You’ll help uncover insights, source suppliers, track trends, assist with blogging, and support research tied to growth and expansion. This role is ideal if you’re curious, resourceful, organized, and comfortable working independently.
Responsibilities
Your tasks may vary depending on your availability and the company’s current needs. You may be assigned to focused projects or rotate through various assignments across our in-house brands, sister companies, or client projects. Projects may shift every few weeks based on priority and workload.
- Research event design trends, floral concepts, styling ideas, and decor innovations
- Support business growth research: potential markets, service expansions, and competitive insights
- Assist with sourcing vendors, rental items, products, and packaging
- Track competitor offerings, pricing, and marketing approaches
- Write and update blog posts, product descriptions, and short-form content
- Support with SEO-focused keyword research and content planning
- Monitor social media trends on TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest
- Compile lists (e.g. trend roundups, vendor directories, industry stats)
- Help with content ideas, drafting and planning (campaigns, guides, marketing assets)
- Assist with ad hoc admin, internal research, and creative brainstorming
You’re a Fit If You:
- Enjoy researching and turning information into actionable insights
- Have strong written communication and organization skills
- Can work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Are interested in events, design, business growth, or content creation
- Are proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented
Bonus if you:
- Have experience writing blogs or doing market research
- Are familiar with tools like Google Drive, Canva, Notion, or Airtable
- Know the basics of SEO, marketing strategy, or business analysis
- Are based in Toronto and available for occasional in-person support (not required)
