Set inside Toronto’s historic Roundhouse, Steam Whistle Brewing is known for its industrial setting and flexible event spaces. While the venue offers several rooms for celebrations of different sizes, Pilsner Hall is a favourite for wedding receptions.

With exposed brick, timber beams, soaring 30-foot ceilings, and warm string lights, the loft-style space has an open feel that’s easy to make your own. During patio season, guests can also step outside to enjoy skyline views before heading back to the dance floor.

The exposed brick, timber beams, and string lights already set the mood, so we kept everything else intentional. White fresh florals, layered greenery, candlelight, and touches of gold brought warmth to the room while letting the space stay true to itself.

One of our favourite moments was watching the reception settle into the evening. As the candles started to glow, the whole room felt softer without losing its industrial edge. The mirrored seating chart, gold terrariums, and low floral centrepieces all blended naturally into the space instead of competing for attention.
