We’ve been Bringing Fairmont Royal York to Life Since 2017
Fairmont Royal York is one of those venues that already makes an impression the moment guests arrive. Between the historic architecture, soaring ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and richly detailed interiors, it doesn’t need much to feel special. Our role is to enhance what’s already there rather than compete with it, which is why every Fairmont Royal York wedding we design feels connected to the venue instead of overpowering it.
Since 2017, VintageBASH has been creating fresh florals, ceremony décor, and reception décor for weddings across Toronto, including many Fairmont Royal York weddings. We love designing here because every ballroom has its own personality—from the iconic Ballroom to the historic Concert Hall and the timeless Imperial Room. No two Fairmont Royal York wedding celebrations are exactly alike, which keeps every design fresh while respecting the character of the space.

Toronto Wedding Florist & Décor at Fairmont Royal York
From the photos, this wedding embraced the elegance that Fairmont Royal York is known for instead of trying to transform it. The ceremony centred around a classic white floral arch placed beneath the venue’s ornate architecture. Layers of white roses, hydrangeas, orchids, and soft greenery framed the couple while still allowing the room’s gold detailing and dramatic ceilings to remain the focal point. Rather than filling every corner with flowers, the design kept the arrangements intentional, creating a clean and timeless look..
The reception carried that same feeling into the ballroom. Tall centrepieces filled with white blooms naturally drew your eyes toward the crystal chandeliers, making the room feel even more impressive without adding unnecessary décor. Gold chairs, candlelight, and clear glass accents brought warmth to the space while keeping the overall look clean and inviting.
Throughout this Fairmont Royal York wedding, the colour palette stayed soft and consistent. Crisp white florals paired with warm candlelight stood out against the hotel’s historic details, creating tables that felt polished but still welcoming. It never felt like the flowers were competing with the room—they simply highlighted everything that was already there.
One of our favourite parts of this Fairmont Royal York wedding was how well the floral design matched the scale of the venue. The centrepieces were tall enough to complement the dramatic ceilings but open enough that guests could still chat comfortably across the table. From the ceremony backdrop to the reception décor, every space felt connected without looking overly styled. It’s the kind of design that photographs well, but more importantly, it feels just as good when you’re actually in the room.
It’s a great example of how fresh florals and thoughtful wedding décor can enhance a historic Toronto wedding venue while letting its character shine.
Loved by Casa Loma Couples
Here’s what one of our couples shared after their wedding day.
“VintageBASH provided our arch and centrepieces, including candles, vases, and florals, for our wedding. They were nothing but kind and patient from the day we booked with them. I went through plenty of decision fatigue and changes, and they were always understanding. The team arrived on time for setup, handled cleanup without any issues, and everything looked beautiful on our wedding day.”

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you decorate weddings at Fairmont Royal York?
Yes. We’ve designed weddings at Fairmont Royal York using both fresh florals and rental décor. Every room has its own character, so we tailor the floral designs to suit the space, whether you’re celebrating in the Ballroom, Imperial Room, Concert Hall, or another event space.
Do you provide fresh flowers?
Absolutely. We offer fresh bridal bouquets, ceremony flowers, centrepieces, floral installations, and personal flowers. We also carry an extensive collection of premium rental décor, allowing couples to mix fresh florals with reusable pieces depending on their style and budget.
Do you offer wedding décor packages?
Yes. Our packages can include ceremony décor, reception décor, candles, centrepieces, arches, linens, signage, and floral installations. Everything is customized based on your guest count, venue layout, and overall design preferences.
Do you handle setup and teardown?
We do. Our team manages delivery, installation, styling, teardown, and pickup, so you don’t have to coordinate multiple vendors on your wedding day. If ceremony décor is being reused for the reception, we can also handle the room flip and transfer.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend reaching out 9 to 12 months before your wedding, especially if you’re getting married during peak season. Fairmont Royal York is one of Toronto’s busiest wedding venues, and popular dates often book well in advance. If your wedding is coming up sooner, it’s still worth getting in touch—we’ll always let you know what’s available.
Can you work with the hotel’s existing décor?
Definitely. Fairmont Royal York already has incredible architectural details, so we often recommend letting the venue do some of the heavy lifting. Instead of filling every corner with flowers, we focus on key areas like the ceremony backdrop, head table, guest tables, and candlelight to create a polished look that feels balanced throughout the space.
Can ceremony flowers be reused for the reception?
Yes. Many couples choose to repurpose ceremony flowers to get more value from their floral budget. Depending on your timeline and venue logistics, our team can move arches, floral arrangements, or other transferable pieces from the ceremony into the reception space.
