We’ve Decorated The Terrace
VintageBASH has been decorating and styling weddings since 2017, with experience working across some of Toronto and the GTA’s most popular wedding venues.
The Terrace in Vaughan is especially fun to decorate because its spacious halls give floral installations room to make an impact. For this wedding, the design leaned into that space with large floral arrangements, soft white blooms, greenery, and statement ceremony décor that carried through to the reception.

The Terrace gives couples a lot of space to work with, which is a big plus when your wedding décor is going beyond a few centrepieces.
The venue’s larger rooms can support tall floral arrangements, ceremony installations, full head-table designs, and statement pieces without everything competing for attention. Its neutral interior also gives florals plenty of room to set the tone for the celebration.
And based on reviews from past couples, the guest experience is another major part of the venue. WeddingWire currently lists The Terrace at 4.9 out of 5 from 56 reviews, with couples frequently mentioning the food, staff, event coordination, and renovated spaces.
“The Terrace is a beautiful venue. We had our wedding here this past Saturday and everything went very very well! Food, as it was at our tasting, amazing. Decor, newly renovated, spacious and classic that goes well with anything. Management is professional, warm and non-judgmental. Staff, warm and friendly, courteous. The evening manager, Carmen, what a pleasure to work with. Just took care of everything so we could enjoy our evening. Everyone who attended raved about The Terrace, they made our event extra memorable and we highly recommend them for any function. You will be in good hands!”
Another couple stated:
“Terrace is an incredible venue. We had our wedding and reception there recently and the staff from pre-sales to post event was very proactive. They ensured that the event went smoothly and that our guests didn’t have anything to complain about. The bars were set up very well and the services from the hall were better than we expected. They took time to listen to our concerns and requirements and made immediate adjustments to accommodate for us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this venue to anyone who is considering hosting a wedding in Vaughan.“
Toronto Wedding Florist & Wedding Stylist
For this The Terrace wedding, the floral design took advantage of the venue’s generous spaces with arrangements that were meant to be seen from across the room.
The ceremony setup featured a soft floral palette of white and ivory blooms with fresh greenery. Rather than keeping the flowers minimal, larger arrangements were placed throughout the ceremony space to frame the couple and add dimension against the venue’s clean architectural backdrop.
The ceremony décor centred around a full floral installation against a draped backdrop. White blooms and greenery were arranged along the base, creating a natural frame for the ceremony without completely covering the backdrop. The look stayed soft and neutral, letting the flowers stand out against the lighter walls and draping.
Statement Floral Arrangements
Throughout the reception, tall floral arrangements brought the same floral language into the larger ballroom.
The arrangements mixed white and ivory flowers with leafy greenery, giving the tables height while keeping the overall palette fresh and cohesive. Because The Terrace has generous ceiling height and open floor plans, the taller arrangements helped fill the vertical space rather than leaving the room feeling visually flat.
A Warmer Floral Moment
One of the spaces featured a completely different floral direction, with warm yellow blooms, greenery, and deeper foliage arranged in tall statement pieces.
Against the wood-panelled backdrop and large projection screen, the warmer flowers added a nice contrast to the softer white-and-green reception design.
It’s a good example of how the same venue can support different floral moods throughout one wedding. Instead of forcing every room to look exactly the same, the floral arrangements can shift slightly while still feeling connected.

Do you offer wedding décor packages?
VintageBASH can provide customized floral and décor proposals based on your wedding plans rather than relying on a single setup for every couple. The Terrace itself also offers wedding packages that include venue-related items such as linens, napkins, a bridal suite, staging for the head table, and other venue services.
Do you handle setup and teardown?
Setup and teardown can depend on the specific floral and décor package booked. It’s best to confirm what’s included in your VintageBASH proposal before booking. The Terrace’s own wedding packages include setup of certain venue items, such as tables, chairs, buffets, and table settings, but that is separate from your florist’s décor setup.
How far in advance should we book VintageBASH for a Terrace wedding?
For a popular Vaughan wedding venue like The Terrace, it’s a good idea to reach out as soon as you have your venue and wedding date confirmed. Earlier booking gives you more flexibility with floral styles, décor requirements, and availability—especially for peak Saturday dates.

Yes. The Terrace has three banquet halls, with Hall 1 and Hall 2 each listed at 6,100 square feet and accommodating up to 400 guests. Hall 3 is listed at 3,600 square feet for up to 260 guests, while the full space can accommodate up to 1,100 guests according to the venue’s wedding page.

Can I have my ceremony and reception at The Terrace?
Yes. The Terrace offers wedding spaces for ceremonies and receptions, including an outdoor gazebo. Its wedding packages also include an indoor ceremony setup for certain wedding formats, with seating and access to the bridal suite.
What makes The Terrace a good venue for floral décor?
The biggest advantage is space. With high ceilings, large banquet rooms, and layouts designed for sizeable guest lists, The Terrace can handle larger floral arrangements without making the room feel cramped. That makes it a good fit for couples who want their wedding flowers to have a noticeable presence rather than keeping everything low and minimal. The venue also describes its halls as having soaring ceilings and large dance floors.
