If you’ve ever imagined getting married in a castle, Casa Loma has probably already made it onto your wedding mood board. Over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to decorate weddings throughout Casa Loma, and every celebration has felt different. That’s one of the things we love most about the venue. From the gardens and Conservatory to the Library and grand halls, every space has its own personality, giving couples plenty of ways to make the day feel like their own.

What’s a Casa Loma Wedding Like?

Located at 1 Austin Terrace, Toronto, ON M5R 1X8, Casa Loma is one of Toronto’s most recognized wedding venues. Built in 1914, the historic castle sits on five acres in midtown Toronto and is known for its stone architecture, stained glass windows, sweeping staircases, manicured gardens, and skyline views.

One of the biggest reasons couples choose Casa Loma is the flexibility of the venue. You can exchange vows beneath the stained glass ceiling of the Conservatory, host an outdoor ceremony in the gardens, enjoy cocktail hour on the grounds, and celebrate the reception in the Library or one of the castle’s other event spaces. It gives you the feeling of multiple venues without ever leaving the property.

Casa Loma also offers dedicated event coordination, in-house catering, and exclusive access to the grounds for wedding portraits. From getting ready to the last dance, everything can happen in one location, making the day feel seamless for both couples and guests.

After decorating weddings here for years, we’ve learned that Casa Loma doesn’t need much to make a statement. Our approach is to work with the venue instead of covering it up, using florals and décor to highlight the architecture while adding details that feel personal to each couple.

For Carlene and Lior’s wedding, the ceremony centered around a custom birch chuppah filled with fresh red and blush roses, layered greenery, and Casa Loma’s stained glass dome overhead. We carried the same floral palette down the aisle so the ceremony felt connected from every angle.

From there, we brought the same design into the reception with fresh florals, candles, custom signage, and décor that complemented the venue instead of competing with it. Every detail was chosen to work with the space, creating a warm, modern atmosphere while letting Casa Loma’s architecture remain the focal point.

We were extremely satisfied with hiring Vintage Bash for Decor & Florals for our July 2022 Wedding at Casa Loma. When working on our Arch, centrepieces and bouquets, they kept us in the loop throughout the entire process and ensures we were satisfied. It was important for us to have a crescent moon arch made of florals and it is exactly what we envisioned. They allowed us to personalize their mirror rentals for our Welcome Sign and Seating Chart and they turned out perfect. Everything turned out absolutely amazing, and our guests wouldn’t stop raving about the decor. The gold cart we rented was meant for the wedding cake, but since it was too heavy we used it for our memory table and honestly it added so much to the display. We do! From the ceremony setup to cocktail hour and the reception, we can design every space so your wedding feels consistent from start to finish.

Do you offer fresh flowers?

Fresh flowers are what we’re known for, but we also work with premium silk florals when they’re the better fit for your design or budget. Sometimes the best designs include both.

Do you have wedding décor packages?

Yes! We offer wedding décor packages that can include fresh florals, ceremony décor, reception styling, rentals, candles, signage, and more. You can choose one of our collections or create something completely custom.

Can we customize everything?

Of course. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all weddings. Your florals and décor are designed around your colour palette, venue, style, and the overall look you’re going for.

When should we book our wedding florist and decorator?

The earlier, the better. Most couples book 8 to 12 months before their wedding, especially for popular dates at venues like Casa Loma.

Do you only work at Casa Loma?

No. While we’ve decorated multiple weddings at Casa Loma, we also work at wedding venues throughout Toronto, the GTA, Niagara, Muskoka, and surrounding areas.

Do you handle setup and teardown?

Yes. Our team handles delivery, setup, room flips if needed, and teardown at the end of the night. You can focus on getting married while we take care of the details.
