Why We Love Cluny Bistro & Boulangerie Weddings

Cluny Bistro & Boulangerie has plenty of detail before you even add the décor. The brick exterior and deep green doors make a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos, while the private dining room brings in wood panelling, toile-style fabric, antique pieces, and exposed brick.

It’s also perfect for intimate weddings, especially if you want everyone gathered around the same dinner table. The smaller private dining spaces keep the celebration close and make the dinner feel more personal.

For one Cluny wedding, we kept the flowers simple and let the space do some of the work. Two tall white blossom trees were placed beside the couple, adding height and giving them a floral backdrop. Five white cherry blossom centrepieces were then placed along the reception tables, paired with white linens for a clean finish.

The result was a room filled with white blooms without making the tables feel crowded. Guests still had plenty of space to sit, eat, and enjoy the dinner, while the flowers added something special to the room.

A Cluny Bistro & Boulangerie wedding gives couples an intimate setting in Toronto’s Distillery District.

The restaurant’s Private Dining Room is used for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, media events, and other private gatherings.

For smaller celebrations, the space can be divided into two private rooms:

This Cluny wedding was all about white florals and a long dinner table filled with flowers.

Outside, the couple had the brick entrance and green doors as their backdrop for photos. Two large white blossom trees framed the entrance, giving the couple a simple floral backdrop without hiding the architecture.

Inside, five white cherry blossom centrepieces were placed along the long reception tables. The branches brought height above the table while still leaving plenty of room for the place settings, glasses, and dinner service.

White table linens kept the tables light and let the flowers stand out against Cluny’s darker wood and brick details. The result was simple to photograph and easy for guests to enjoy during dinner.

We also handled the delivery, setup, and pickup for the décor rentals, including the blossom trees, centrepieces, and table linens.

The full Cluny Private Dining Room can seat up to 64 guests for dinner or accommodate up to 80 guests for a cocktail event.

If you’re planning something smaller, the room can be divided into two spaces:

Do you handle setup and teardown?

How far in advance should we book?
