We’ve Decorated Old Mill Toronto Since 2017
We’ve been designing weddings across Toronto since 2017, and Old Mill Toronto Hotel is one of those venues that never really goes out of style. Every space already has its own personality, especially the historic chapel. That means our approach is usually less about transforming the room and more about adding the right details in the right places. Fresh florals, thoughtful wedding décor, and a design that feels connected to the venue always go further than filling every corner.

The chapel is one of Old Mill’s most loved spaces, offering a warm, intimate setting that’s full of character before any wedding décor is added. Couples also appreciate how smoothly the day flows, thanks to the venue’s experienced staff and convenient all-in-one layout. It’s this combination of history, hospitality, and flexibility that continues to make Old Mill Toronto one of the most sought-after Toronto wedding venues.
A couple shared this after celebrating her wedding here:
“OM is a true gem of Toronto! I loved that they had different room styles and sizes to suit every part of the day. Everything was scenic, both inside and outside, and we were able to have our wedding ceremony, photos, and reception all in one place. Even our cake came from their pastry shop. The packages were fairly priced, the team was flexible with our requests, and several of our guests commented on how wonderful the serving staff were. Thank you, Old Mill, for adding to our wedding memories.”
Another couple shared:
“We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day. From the historic venue and beautiful chapel to the delicious food and welcoming staff, everything felt effortless. Everyone we worked with stayed organized, thoughtful, and one step ahead throughout the planning process and on the wedding day. They handled every detail with care, allowing us to simply enjoy the moment with our guests.”
Toronto Wedding Florist & Ceremony Décor at Old Mill Toronto
For Amanda and Patrick’s Old Mill Toronto wedding, the goal wasn’t to fill the chapel with flowers—it was to work with the space instead of against it.
The chapel already has so much character. Between the stained glass windows, warm wood finishes, and candlelit atmosphere, it doesn’t need dramatic installations to make an impact. Rather than covering those details, we designed the ceremony décor to highlight them. Two matching floral arrangements were placed on dark wooden pedestals beside the altar, naturally framing the stained glass while drawing every eye toward the couple as they exchanged their vows.
White roses, hydrangeas, and seasonal white blooms were layered with soft greenery to create arrangements that felt fresh, textured, and understated. The colour palette stayed intentionally simple, allowing the flowers to complement the chapel’s architecture instead of competing with it. From every angle, the florals blended into the space so naturally that they looked like they had always belonged there.
The aisle followed the same approach. Low floral arrangements lined the pews, creating a soft pathway to the altar without making the room feel crowded. As guests walked into the chapel, their attention was guided through the space toward the ceremony while the stained glass and historic details remained the focal point. It’s a subtle design choice, but one that completely changes how the room feels.
One of our favourite things about decorating an Old Mill Toronto wedding is knowing when to stop. This is a venue that already tells its own story, and the best wedding décor simply builds on it. Instead of adding flowers everywhere, we focused on the places that mattered most, letting each arrangement have a purpose. Looking back at Amanda and Patrick’s ceremony, that’s what stands out the most. Nothing felt overdone. Every floral piece worked with the chapel’s architecture, creating a ceremony that felt warm, personal, and effortless. Sometimes that’s all a space needs, fresh florals, thoughtful design, and the confidence to let the venue do what it already does so well.
What Our Couple Said
Here’s what one of our couples shared after their wedding day.
“Absolutely stunned with the décor and florals VintageBASH did for our wedding. Our ceremony and reception were beautifully decorated—they really brought our vision to life. We also loved our bouquets and boutonnieres, and having one team handle both the flowers and décor made everything so much easier. We’d highly recommend VintageBASH!”

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you decorate weddings at Old Mill Toronto Hotel?
Yes. VintageBASH regularly provides wedding décor and floral design for Old Mill Toronto weddings, including the chapel ceremony, reception spaces, cocktail hour, and personal flowers. Because we’ve worked at the venue multiple times, we’re familiar with the chapel layout, setup timing, and how to design florals that complement the space.
Do you provide fresh flowers?
Absolutely. We create custom fresh floral designs for bouquets, boutonnieres, ceremony arrangements, aisle flowers, centrepieces, floral installations, and more. Every design is based on your colour palette, preferred style, and what’s in season.
Do you offer wedding décor packages?
Yes. We offer both floral-only services and full wedding décor packages. Depending on your wedding, packages can include ceremony décor, reception décor, backdrops, centrepieces, candles, table styling, rentals, and fresh florals, making it easy to coordinate everything through one team.
Do you handle setup and teardown?
We do. Our team takes care of delivery, installation, styling, teardown, and pickup, so you won’t need to coordinate multiple vendors on your wedding day. If ceremony flowers are being repurposed for the reception, we’ll also handle that transition when your timeline allows.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend reaching out 6 to 12 months before your wedding, especially if you’re getting married during peak season. Popular Toronto wedding dates and venues like Old Mill Toronto tend to book quickly, and reserving your florist early gives you the most flexibility when planning your décor and floral design.
