Housed in the historic Dominion Bank building, the venue brings together old Toronto charm and the feel of a modern luxury hotel. Between the cathedral windows, coffered ceilings, Corinthian columns, crystal chandeliers, and original details throughout the property, there’s already plenty to work with.

We’ve been designing weddings since 2017, and our approach is always to build around what makes a venue special. At One King West, that means letting the architecture have its moment while using florals, centrepieces, and décor to bring in the couple’s personality.

Getting Married at One King West

A One King West wedding gives you plenty of options depending on the size and vibe of your celebration.

Located at the corner of King and Yonge Streets in downtown Toronto, One King West is housed in the former Dominion Bank building, which dates back to 1914. The historic setting gives the venue a look you really can’t recreate from scratch.

The Grand Banking Hall is the standout for larger celebrations. With its cathedral windows, coffered ceilings, Corinthian columns, and crystal chandeliers, the room already feels grand before the flowers arrive. It can accommodate up to 300 guests with a dance floor or up to 500 for a standing reception.

For something more intimate, Fifteen Hundred has a modern loft feel with a private outdoor terrace and Toronto skyline views. Austin Gallery offers another elegant option for ceremonies and receptions, while the Chairman’s Boardroom keeps things smaller with original oak paneling dating back to 1914.

Then there’s The Vault, a former bank vault that gives smaller celebrations a completely different feel.
