The Faculty Club has a way of making weddings feel intimate, no matter how many guests are in the room.

For this celebration, the reception centred around long tables dressed with soft yellow florals, fresh lemons, bud vases, and taper candles. Against the venue’s signature blue walls, the colours felt fresh without asking for too much attention.

One of our favourite details was how the tables invited guests to settle in. Instead of large centrepieces, smaller arrangements and candles kept conversations flowing while still giving every table its own personality.

Outside, the University of Toronto campus became part of the day. Between the ivy-covered buildings, stone archways, and quiet pathways, there was no shortage of beautiful places for portraits before everyone returned for dinner.

Looking through the gallery, it’s the balance that stands out most. The flowers didn’t compete with the venue, and the venue didn’t overshadow the flowers. Together, they created a setting that felt relaxed, timeless, and easy to picture yourself celebrating in.
