We’ve Decorated Weddings at Granite Club

There’s a reason Granite Club keeps ending up on couples’ shortlist. The venue already has so much going for it. Garden views, bright reception spaces, and classic architecture that doesn’t compete with the décor.

Since 2017, we’ve designed more than 2,000 weddings and events across Toronto and the GTA, and one thing we’ve learned is that the best weddings don’t need more—they need the right details in the right places.

At Granite Club, we keep the florals and styling intentional. A ceremony backdrop that frames the vows. Candlelight that changes the room once dinner begins. Centrepieces that bring everything together without taking over the space. The end result isn’t a room filled with décor. It’s a wedding that feels polished, personal, and completely your own.

About Granite Club

Located in Toronto’s Lawrence Park neighbourhood overlooking the Don Valley, Granite Club is a private members’ club that combines landscaped grounds with elegant reception spaces. Couples can host their ceremony, cocktail hour, portraits, and reception all in one place, making the day easy for both guests and vendors.

Granite Club Wedding Features:

  • Grand Ballroom accommodating 150–400 guests
  • On-site ceremony and reception spaces
  • Landscaped terrace overlooking the gardens
  • Tree-lined grounds for wedding portraits
  • Menus created by the Club’s Executive Chef
  • Complimentary menu and wine tasting for two
  • Five-hour premium open bar
  • Complimentary underground parking
  • Dedicated bridal hostess on your wedding day
  • Professional Event Services team to help coordinate your celebration

One of the things we like most about Granite Club is how naturally the day flows. Guests stay in one location from the ceremony through the reception, while the gardens and bright event spaces provide plenty of opportunities for photos. The venue already has a clean, classic look, making it easy to layer in fresh florals, candles, and décor without making the space feel overstyled.

Couples and guests often mention the same things after celebrating at Granite Golf Club: attentive service, great food, and a venue that feels calm and well-organized.

One guest shared:

“From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed with top-tier hospitality. The clubhouse is elegant yet inviting, and the food and service are top-notch.”

Another review says:

The Granite Golf Club is exceptionally clean, and the team is amazing, friendly, professional, and welcoming. The food on the patio was absolutely delicious.”

Those comments reflect our experience as well. The venue team communicates clearly, timelines stay on schedule, and everything runs with a sense of ease. That allows couples to stay present with their guests instead of worrying about what’s happening behind the scenes.

Toronto Wedding Florist & Wedding Décor at Granite Club

MMark and Harriet wanted a wedding that felt clean, romantic, and effortless. Nothing over the top. Just a space where every detail felt like it belonged.

Their ceremony took place outdoors beneath a silk floral arch in soft blush and white, with Granite Club’s gardens setting the scene behind them. Garden-style aisle arrangements completed the ceremony without taking attention away from the venue itself.

Wedding Design Highlights

  • Silk floral ceremony arch
  • Garden-style aisle arrangements
  • Silk floral centrepieces
  • Blush, white, and soft greenery palette
  • Gold Chiavari chairs
  • White draping behind the sweetheart table
  • Floating candles throughout the reception
  • Ceremony arch repurposed behind the sweetheart table

When guests stepped into the ballroom, the same colour palette carried through every table. Silk floral centrepieces, candlelight, and soft white draping gave the room a warm, inviting feel while letting Granite Club’s architecture remain part of the design.

One of our favourite details came after the ceremony. Instead of letting the floral arch sit unused, we moved it behind Mark and Harriet’s sweetheart table, where it became the backdrop for dinner, speeches, and some of the couple’s favourite photos from the night.

Looking through their gallery now, what stands out isn’t one dramatic installation. It’s how everything flows together. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all feel connected, creating a wedding that feels unmistakably like Mark and Harriet.

Experience with VintageBASH

Here’s what one of our couples shared after their wedding day.

We are beyond thrilled with the wedding florals and decor we got from VintageBASH!
With so many wedding vendors out there, it was hard finding someone that delivered exactly what we wanted within our budget.
We found VintageBASH on Google and were a bit nervous because we didn’t know anyone who had worked with them before. Yhanie made the entire process easy. She asked lots of questions, shared updates while our ceremony arch was being built, and even adjusted the flower colours after sending us progress photos. They created the loose, airy bridesmaid bouquets I had imagined, mixed fresh and faux florals beautifully, and always had thoughtful suggestions whenever we wanted to add something without stretching our budget.
Thank you for making our wedding feel exactly like us. We couldn’t be happier.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you decorate weddings at Granite Club?

Yes! We’ve decorated weddings at Granite Club and know the venue well. From outdoor ceremonies to ballroom receptions, we create florals and décor that work with the space and feel personal to you.

Do you offer silk florals?

We do. Many couples choose silk florals for arches, centrepieces, and statement pieces because they photograph beautifully and can be repurposed throughout the day. We also offer fresh flowers or a mix of both.

What wedding décor can you provide?

Our wedding décor packages are flexible, so you can book florals, décor, or both.

Popular services include:

  • Ceremony décor
  • Reception décor
  • Floral arches
  • Fresh floral centrepieces
  • Sweetheart table styling
  • Head table florals
  • Welcome sign styling
  • Candles and decorative accents

Every proposal is customized based on your venue and guest count.

Do you handle setup and teardown?

Our team takes care of delivery, setup, styling, and teardown, so you don’t have to coordinate multiple vendors on your wedding day. We’ve worked at many Toronto wedding venues over the years, so we’re familiar with venue timelines and know how to keep everything moving behind the scenes.

How far in advance should we book?

Most couples book 8 to 12 months before their wedding, especially for dates between May and October. If your wedding is coming up sooner, it’s still worth reaching out. We’ll always let you know if we have availability.

What wedding style works best at Granite Club?

Granite Club is a great fit for couples who love a clean, garden-inspired wedding with a classic feel. The outdoor ceremony lawn pairs naturally with floral arches and aisle flowers, while the ballroom gives you plenty of flexibility to style the reception your way.

Popular design choices include:

  • Silk or fresh floral ceremony arches
  • Garden-style aisle arrangements
  • Blush, white, and green colour palettes
  • Candlelit receptions
  • Classic centrepieces
  • Soft, neutral décor with gold accents

The venue already has plenty of greenery and character, so a few well-placed floral pieces often go further than filling the room with décor.

Why do couples choose Granite Club?

One of the biggest reasons couples choose Granite Club is how easy the day feels.

The ceremony, cocktail hour, portraits, and reception all happen in one place, so guests can stay present instead of moving between venues. The gardens offer plenty of photo locations, and the ballroom transitions easily from daytime celebrations to evening receptions.

Couples also appreciate:

  • Outdoor ceremony and indoor reception in one location
  • Landscaped gardens for wedding photos
  • Grand Ballroom for 150 to 400 guests
  • Complimentary underground parking
  • Dedicated wedding team and bridal hostess
  • Menus created by the Club’s Executive Chef

It’s a venue that already has a strong foundation, making it easy to create a wedding that feels personal without overcomplicating the design.
