With its high ceilings, neutral flooring, and long sightlines, York Mills Gallery offered plenty of room to scale vertically and balance zones without walls. The ceremony and reception were held in the same venue, which meant every transition needed to feel intentional.
From welcome signage to ceremony backdrop and table layout, the flow stayed consistent.

Decor Services Provided by VintageBASH
For this wedding, we handled all florals and event decor setup:
- Ceremony install with a layered floral arch
- Ground arrangements for the aisle, repurposed for reception zones
- Reception table styling with clear candle holders and monochrome florals
- Entry sign with base florals, plus small vignettes across key guest areas
The colour palette kept to neutrals — white, soft beige, and touches of pale green — anchored with structured greenery for dimension.
Design Direction
Florals included roses, lisianthus, and other seasonal blooms chosen for shape rather than color. Nothing overly styled — just clean groupings designed to enhance the venue’s tone.
Highlights included:
- A floral arch with loose structure at the ceremony
- Repeating bud vases and low arrangements along long guest tables
- Coordinated menus and linen to maintain a muted visual base
- Lighting direction from @solepower to support evening mood shifts
