Julie & Kyle’s Wedding at The Guild Inn Estate: Garden-Inspired White & Blue Wedding
Our team had the chance to style Julie and Kyle’s wedding at The Guild Inn Estate, one of Toronto’s most recognizable wedding venues. The goal was simple: pair soft white florals with pastel blue accents to create a clean, cohesive look that worked naturally with the estate’s gardens and stone architecture.
The Venue: The Guild Inn Estate
Located at 201 Guildwood Parkway in Scarborough, Toronto, The Guild Inn Estate is known for its stone architecture, landscaped gardens, and bright reception spaces. It’s a venue that already has plenty of character, so the décor doesn’t need to compete with it.
The ceremony and reception flowed naturally from one space to the next, and the natural light throughout the venue helped highlight the soft colours and floral arrangements. The gardens also offered a variety of portrait locations, making it easy to capture different looks without leaving the property.
Wedding Decor & Styling
For Julie and Kyle’s wedding, we styled both the ceremony and reception to create one consistent look from beginning to end.
Our services included:
- Ceremony styling
- Reception décor
- Décor rentals
- Floral styling
- On-site setup
Every design choice was made to complement the venue instead of covering it up. White florals paired with pastel blue accents brought colour into the space while keeping the overall look light and balanced.
Standout Wedding Decor Moments
The colour palette stayed intentionally simple—white, pastel blue, and touches of greenery.
Some of our favourite details included:
- A floral ceremony backdrop that framed the couple without taking attention away from the venue.
- Reception tables finished with white blooms, pastel blue accents, and coordinated table décor.
- A sweetheart table that served as the visual centre of the reception.
- Matching signage and décor pieces that carried the same style throughout the day.
Rather than focusing on one oversized installation, the design worked because every area felt connected. The colours, textures, and floral arrangements flowed naturally from the ceremony into the reception, creating a space that felt cohesive from start to finish.
The Creative Team Behind the Wedding
Every wedding comes together through the collaboration of talented vendors. Here’s the team behind Julie and Kyle’s celebration at The Guild Inn Estate:
- Photography: TAM Studios captured heartfelt moments and the venue’s architectural backdrop with a clean photography style.
- Hair & Makeup: Ford Beauty created a polished bridal look that complemented the wedding’s soft white and pastel blue palette.
- Wedding Dress: Morilee Julie wore a classic Morilee gown that paired beautifully with the overall design and setting.
- Officiant: Enduring Promises led a heartfelt ceremony that reflected the couple’s story and marked the beginning of their celebration.
The Guild Inn Estate works especially well for couples who want a venue with architectural character and gardens that don’t require extensive styling. Julie and Kyle’s wedding shows how a white-and-pastel-blue palette can complement the space while keeping the overall design clean and cohesive.
If you’re planning a wedding at The Guild Inn Estate or another venue in Toronto and the GTA, we’d love to help create a décor plan that’s designed around your space, your style, and the way you want your day to feel.
