Luxe Floral Cart for Versace Activation at Yorkdale Mall
VintageBASH brought its floral work into one of Toronto’s most recognizable fashion spaces — the Versace boutique at Yorkdale Shopping Centre. Known for its bold visual identity rooted in black, gold, and high-impact pattern, Versace called for a floral direction that could balance out the intensity without changing the brand’s visual tone.
The in-store display was managed by the Versace visual team, but our floral additions created just the right amount of contrast — bringing softness and texture into a space built on sharp lines and high-shine finishes.

Minimal Floral Styling with Purpose
Versace Yorkdale is visually dense: reflective surfaces, high-gloss black floors, detailed gold trim. To avoid overwhelming the space, our team kept the floral approach clean and monochromatic. White and cream florals — including roses, hydrangeas, and premium seasonal stems — were arranged in sculptural matte vases with no added fillers or distractions. The result was crisp, neutral, and intentional.
Softening Luxury: Florals That Complement a Bold Brand Identity
Florals were placed in key sightlines throughout the store. They softened sharp visual elements while still aligning with the store’s graphic and structured layout. Nothing felt added just to fill space — each piece had a reason to be there.
This approach worked because it wasn’t just about adding florals — it was about understanding the Versace brand language and how to introduce contrast without removing its edge. Our focus was on form, restraint, and subtle balance.
Floral Details That Enhance the Retail Experience
Even a few well-placed arrangements can shift the feel of a retail space. The clean lines and natural volume of the florals worked quietly in the background — not overpowering anything, but still noticeable to guests moving through the store.
