Modern White Wedding at One King West (Toronto)
From a floral-filled ceremony to reception tables glowing with candlelight, this October wedding at One King West was all about balance. Jose and his partner teamed up with Pretty Plans and our VintageBash team to create a day that felt streamlined, fresh, and thoughtfully put together.
The Venue: One King West Hotel & Residence, Toronto, ON
With a ceremony held on the 12th floor mezzanine and a reception in the Grand Banking Hall, this downtown Toronto venue offered distinct backdrops for each part of the celebration. The Austin Gallery’s clean lines and natural wood tones helped the white florals stand out without competing for attention. Later in the evening, the grandeur of the Banking Hall provided a striking contrast — polished floors, tall ceilings, and a darker palette made it ideal for moody lighting and a more layered tablescape.
What We Brought In
The decor focused on clean florals, symmetry, and grounding focal points. Our team provided full wedding styling, including:
- Two white cherry blossom trees with modern square risers for the ceremony
- Eight guest-facing aisle markers to line the walk down
- Faux greenery garland for the welcome table
- A 12ft garland for the head table, plus ground arrangements and faux floral bud vases
- Personal florals: groom and groomsmen boutonnières, bridesmaid bouquet
- A clean foam-core welcome sign on easel
The ceremony florals were transferred into the reception space during cocktail hour to keep the design seamless and cohesive throughout the night.
Style Direction & Details
The palette stayed simple: layered whites, soft greens, and navy linens to ground the head table. The cherry blossom trees were the standout installation — wide, airy, and structured. The bar area also got subtle touches: bud vases with white blooms flanked the signature drink menu, and warm candlelight added a glow to the darker space. Throughout the design, the focus was on impact through repetition and shape — not colour.
