The Doctor’s House: Modern White & Gold Wedding in Kleinburg

On August 2, 2025, Shanice and Christian celebrated their wedding at The Doctor’s House in Kleinburg, Ontario — a wedding venue known for its charm and versatility. For this summer wedding, our design direction leaned toward a clean, fresh aesthetic with soft white florals, gold accents, and candlelight for a warm, modern feel.

The Venue

Located at 21 Nashville Road, The Doctor’s House offers an inviting flow between ceremony and reception spaces. The couple hosted their ceremony in the Country Fare room, followed by a seamless transition into the cocktail hour and evening reception. Large windows filled the room with natural light during the day, while soft lighting and reflective surfaces created an intimate atmosphere for the evening.

Our Role in the Design

VintageBash provided full-service wedding décor, including ceremony styling, reception tablescapes, and floral design. Our focus was on achieving a monochromatic palette with layered textures and thoughtful candle arrangements to add depth and warmth.

For the ceremony, we styled a faux baby’s breath floral arch with a straighter, contemporary shape. This served as the backdrop for the couple’s vows, framed by varying heights of clear cylinder pillar candles for a subtle glow.

Reception Design & Details

The reception décor centered on a white and gold palette with fresh floral accents. Guest tables featured bud vase arrangements with single-stem roses, paired with floating candles, pillar candles, and tealights in clear holders. Each place setting included layered white charger plates, crisp linen napkins, and personalized menus, creating a polished look without feeling overdone.

The head table was a focal point — dressed in a fresh floral runner of roses and baby’s breath, surrounded by candles in varying heights. Two vertical floral towers framed the couple, tying the space together beautifully.

Key décor elements included:

  • Welcome & seating chart signage in a minimal black-and-white style
  • Cylinder candle clusters in receiving and ceremony areas
  • Bud vase centerpieces with fresh roses
  • Head table floral runner & candle display for a romantic focal point
